TV Presenting Reel (2014)
Archive: “London Calling”
“London Calling” was a monthly on-line TV show – a celebration of the vinyl era, spanning the Mid-60s to the Mid-90s. The Beatles to Britpop and everything in between. Steve is producer, presenter and writer of the programme where he shares his insights and opinions to a core audience of people old enough to remember a time before downloads, also highlighting the rich musical heritage of the capital city.
Regular features on the show: “Capital Records” (retracing the steps of iconic album cover shoots in London), “Inky Fingers” (an edition of NME/Melody Maker/Sounds from yesteryear), “Record Shop of the Month” (highlighting an independent vinyl specialist), plus reviews and interviews in the studio at Pinewood and location pieces.
